Welcome to another year of
Sensor100
! Is it too late to wish you a
belated Happy NewYear?
It seems amazing that January has come and (almost) gone. New
Year’s resolutions made and already broken. Where does time go?
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of optimism around for 2013 from
the academic and business communities on both sides of the Atlantic.
We will have to wait and see what the year brings. Here at
Sen-
sor100
we will continue trying to make this Newsletter more useful,
building our network, and looking for opportunities to get involved
in meaningful ways to facilitate sensor commercialisation. We have
added two new sections to the Newsletter - “How do they do that?”
and “Who’s who in sensors?”. NewYear’s resolutions notwithstand-
ing, we hope these will become regular features.
At the moment, we are more than fully occupied organising
Sensors
in Medicine 2013.
We have an outstanding program of speakers,
with a couple of gaps to be filled. The early registration discount
runs out on 31 January, so if you haven’t registered yet, do it now if
cash is important to you. More program details inside this Newslet-
ter.
Best wishes for the remainder of 2013
Kind regards
Michael
