The Innovation Award of the international non-profit association
EARTO 2012 was won by JOANNEUM RESEARCH. The prize,
which is awarded on the basis of the economic and social impact of
an innovation, was won for the team’s development of the dermal
open-flow microperfusion (dOFM) technology. dOFM enables the
accurate measurement of the concentration and effects of pharma-
ceuticals in the skin.
